Decorating your home shouldn't be an invasive experience therfore I am extremely neat and tidy.

I only use latex paints because I hate the odor of oil based products and how long they take to cure.
Your home will only be enhanced and...
except for the the new beauty of your walls, you'll never even know I was there.

The pics below are of a master bath and the adjacent dressing room in Danny & Gretchen Bonaduce's beautiful house in Los Feliz, very "spanishy".
The stencil is custom made to match the design of the hanging light fixtures. The walls are a basic warm yellow so the stencil really stands out.
The bathtub area, in the background, is a 2 color "messy" big brush stipple to give the small room some depth and faux aging.
The combined colors mimic the deep blue tones of the shower accent tiles which are practically cobalt.

These four pics are of Gretchen's dressing room, it's also the entry into the bathroom area.

The walls, to start out with, were varied in texture so I took advantage of it and textured the whole room. I did a faux inlay of a fleur de lis in a dark blue and glazed it all in a medium blue. The house is an old spanish style so the inlay looks original.

The pictures below are of a home in Beverly Hills which is being completely renovated. It's huge! Below is the Ballroom. Everyone who's anyone has been in this room, it's Wallace Berry's old house! Anyway... the panelling is original and is a dark knotty pine. The designer didn't like the knots, so here I go. It is now a faux birchwood finish, or close to it. In the third picture, you can see the beautiful huge limestone fireplace being assembled. This room is about 45ft x 15ft. Everything except the ceiling is wood and therefore was faux finished.

The pic to the left is in the master bath of the house.
The faux picks up the green in the counter top and the inlay.
It's a green faux wood, sanded back to reveal a white under coat.

Do fountains make a home?
In Beverly Hills they do...
and never settle for a plain old cement colored one.

here are some before and after shots

This is a beautiful home at the top of Doheny Dr. in Beverly Hills.
I two of the bathroom's cabinetry... from white to a faux that blends in the warm beiges of the marble.

Even closer...
The designer wanted a faux that brought the floor marble and the sink top marble together.

The designer, her name is Linda "the fabulous"... had gone through 3 pieces of marble trying to get the holes drilled for the pot lights. Not happening! So she asked me to faux it to match the two columns flanking the mirror. It was yellow sheet rock before I got at it!!!

Here we are again... in the master bath.
The cabinet is a similar faux, bringing the floor and the sink top together.
The kick plate is fauxed to match the floor marble

This is a small powder room off a foyer. Hand painted Lyrics from a french love song make a beautiful ceiling border.
The walls are stippled to create a aged look.
This client found this in a magazine and loved it. He asked if I could duplicate it, and of course I said "YES". Two color glaze finish over a skim coat on a cinder block wall.
Vines accent on a very subtle faux marble wall in a guests powder room. I only did the marbling, AFTER the vines were already there. Don't feel intimidated by your existing decor. You can always add to it.
This is a room for the client to relax with friends. He has a pool table, huge TV and a great sound system. He wanted it to look like an old bar, not a new space.

The client wanted his bedroom walls to look like a glass of wine held up to the sun. I think we came pretty close.

The bronze (right) is on the ceiling and the yellow is on the walls. The walls were fauxed with a golden copper glaze brushed on to match the brushed texture on the ceiling.
This is a tone on tone rag finish. The base is a light terracotta and the glaze is 4 shades darker.
The wall around the fireplace is a hunter green suede finish.

Custom mixed color of Ralph suede paint. Applied with a brush to give it the real suede look.
Ralph Lauren Suede paint with a copper glaze coat. The copper eventually oxidizes for a great patina.
Subtle rag finish on fireplace with accent stencil.
Faux woodgrain foyer in a 1920's apartment.

These walls were messed up. Rather than spending the money to make the walls smooth, I suggested plaster. Fairly subtle, two color plaster effect, plaster is mixed on wall for color variation
Very dramatic, two color plaster effect, plaster is mixed on the wall for color variation.
This client had some severe water damage. She rents and didn't want to spend a lot of money and she actually liked the damaged look. So...I mixed a glaze the same color as the water stains and went wild on the walls.
Fairly subtle, two color plaster effect, paint is mixed in with the plaster and then plaster is mixed on wall for color variation.

Sample Boards

These are a few sample boards.
I put them up here because they are created using some different materials.
If you are interested in seeing any of these, please let me know.

Sample boards are created at your request, for a nominal fee, to see if you like the finish, before you put it on your walls.
Even if it's just a plain paint color, it's a good idea to have a board and move it around the room to make sure the color works for you.
